Brief CV : (2020/06/28 update)

Dr. Yung-Liang Wan is currently an Honorable Professor of Radiology, College of Medicine, Chang Gung University, a Consultant Radiologist at the Department of Medical Imaging and Intervention, Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan. He graduated from the College of Medicine, National Taiwan University in 1980. He completed four years of Resident training in 1984 and Fellowship in 1985.

Professor Wan was a Director of the Department of Medical Imaging and Radiological Sciences (MIRS), College of Medicine, Chang Gung University for 23 years from 1995 to January 2019. He was the Chairman of the Department of Medical Imaging and Intervention, Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Chang Gung University for 18 years from 1993 to 2011. Currently, he is the President of ASCI (Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging) and the immediate past President of the Asian Society of Thoracic Radiology (ASTR) (2015 to 2019), a consultant to the Taiwan Radiological Society (TRS), the Founding President of Taiwan Society of Medical Imaging and Radiological Sciences, and Congress Ambassador of Taipei City Government (2019 to 2024). He was the President or Organizer of nine International Congresses.

Cardiothoracic imaging, CT-guided intervention of chest, diagnostic ultrasonography, and US-guided intervention are his major interest for research. He has published 342 peer-reviewed papers. He has been invited to deliver 72 domestic lectures and 95 speeches in international meetings. A reviewer of 21 medical journals. Winning 19 awards and honors, including an Outstanding Award of ASCI in March 2019, a Congress Ambassador of Taipei City Government (2019 to 2024), and a member of International Visiting Professor (IVP) Program to promote the Radiological Profession in Asia (Myanmar) in February 2019 which was organized by the RSNA and AOSR. He is an Associate Editor of J Thoracic Imaging (an official journal of Society of Thoracic Radiology, USA, cited by SCI), Editor-in-Chief of J Radiological Sciences (an official journal of TSR), and Editorial board member of Cardiovascular Imaging Asia (an official journal of ASCI).
